We started a new adventure last night in my 5e group, set 30 years after the adventure we finished last week (against the cult of the reptile god). 30 year after the events of our last adventure, the PCs have all reunited at the funeral of my character, Pugmut Slugripper, a kobold fighter and beloved folk hero.
My new character is a child we rescued from the cult in the last adventure that Pugmut adopted as a protege and who ended up being possessed by a demon and having cool demon powers. I used fastcharacter.com to generate a warlock because I hate making 5e characters. I was a little drunk and got a bit emotional at Pugmut's funeral even though it was very silly. This group of players is really good at funny roleplaying and the first half of the session was really fun and the second half was a long drawn out 5e fight that felt like a mostly waste of time. Anyways, rest in peace pugmut.
